G+ Notifier – Open source Windows app for Google+

Argh! Das kann nervig werden, sofern man aktiver Benutzer von Google+ ist. G+ Notifier informiert im System-Tray von Windows über eingehende Benachrichtigungen in Googles Netzwerk. Bei mir würde das dann so aussehen: *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling* *pling*

    Oh man, so etwas kann auf dauer echt nervig werden, zum jetztigen Zeitpunkt wo noch so wenige G+ nutzen, kann es ja noch praktisch sein ich zumindest nur selten reinschaue. Aber sobald es sich etabliert hat und ein großer Freundeskreis dort ist, da schaut man doch eh häufiger rein und dann macht sowas auch keinen Sinn mehr.

    Runtergeladen, installiert und gewundert… ein Hinweis wäre schön gewesen, dass das ein Screenshot der geplanten Version ist und die aktuelle eigentlich nur ein Bubble mit “x neue Benachrichtigungen” anzeigt… naja, oder ich hätte selber nochmal genauer schauen müssen.

    You’re right, the current functionality is just the number in the icon and the balloon, but the screenshot above is the planned functionality. I wanted to get something out early for people to use, but I’m actively enhancing it :-)
